Today we decided to take a tour of some of the sites. There was a Seal Tour that we decided to take. It is a bus and takes you around some of the great sites downtown San Diego and then turns into a boat and splashes down at Sea Port Village and takes you around the bay.

It was really fun and really cold. I knew when we left that I should have taken a sweatshirt. LOL!!

We saw so many things that pertained to the military I just cannot remember them all.

It was really cool to see them training dolphins and sea lions. And, the kids loved the sea lions we saw in the water and around the tour.

The babies were sooo cute!! Well, for a sea lion.

We also toured the USS Midway while we were there. An aircraft carrier that is docked in the bay. It was amazing to see how enormous an aircraft carrier is. It was very cool and could have taken us all day but, we wanted to do so many other things there was just not time to see it all.

We got in some flight simulators and tried them out. Boy, you do not want to get into a plane with me or Brooke. I don't know how many times we were shot down and turned upside down. I think Mike and Boston did just as bad. LOL!! We headed back to the hotel to build sandcastles on the beach and swim in the pool.
